Recently, Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) tools such as Social Network Service (SNS) and Wiki become popular among enterprises. However, it is not clear how to select a suitable tool for the situation of each enterprise communication. We assume that CMC tools have their own suitable pattern of enterprise communication. In this paper, patterns of CMC will be identified through analysis of real enterprise communication cases by using Knowledge transformation modes proposed by authors. Analyses of the enterprise SNS and Wiki usages show that these communication patterns include discussion and publication types. In the case of SNS, we extracted the discussion pattern of CMC from the Q&A scenario. In the case of Wiki, we also extracted the publication pattern of CMC in the software development process. In the course of the analysis, we identified the patterns of CMC by using the distribution of the 5 Knowledge transformation modes. As a result, we clarified the effectivity of knowledge transformation modes to analyze the patterns of CMC. The future works include showing the possibility of effective recombination of CMC tools based on these communication patterns.
