The shift to right-brain awareness is an attempt to create a “whole-brain” conceptualization in today’s technological, global, and culturally-diverse business environment. Theorists have developed hypotheses that directly impact management and leadership styles. Traditional assessment tools that analyze management traits and attributes have been supplanted by new tools that incorporate right-brain analysis. Today’s managers must incorporate new thinking processes as they attempt to navigate in a new landscape of diversity, globalization, and new markets.
