The Influence of Corporate Entrepreneurship on Performance

Organizational Performance is influenced by corporate entrepreneurship. The authors propose that organizational support in terms of training, trust on employees and resource availability has a positive influence on an organizations entrepreneurial capabilities. The mediating role of organizational support and the influence new firm formation, product and process innovation on organizational performance is researched here and the findings are presented. Questionnaires were used to obtain primary data and a literature review forms the secondary data used in this study. The authors employ three hypotheses to test the mediating role of corporate entrepreneurship on the corporate support and performance linkage. It is found that corporate entrepreneurship capability has a mediating role in the organizational support-performance relationship.

I have been conferred with the Prof.K.Venkat Reddy gold medal in MBA for the batch 1992-1994 by S.K. University. I have been awarded with Doctor of Philosophy in Management for my dissertation titled ‘Organizational Culture and Network Embeddedness’. I possess to my credit a bachelors degree in law with Labor legislations as specialization. I have published eight articles in different Journals and presented my research work in Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management, and Organizational Culture in various International Conferences including one in the International Colloquium on Business and Management, Bangkok. Have also undertaken consultancy work for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.

I am a Doctorate in Management from the University of Mumbai with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, research and consulting. I have been associated with the University of Mumbai, NIZWA College of Technology, Oman under the Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman, RMIT University, Vietnam and currently with the New York Institute of Technology, Amman, Jordan.

Ramesh Reddy Pedakamu

I have to my credit two Masters with one in Statistics and the other in Mathematics. I was awarded the Best Faculty Award 2002, by Viswam College. I am an Assistant Professor at Aurora P.G. College, handling Finance and Marketing specializations for MBA students. I have been associated with the Bank of America and then moved to academics. I have presented papers at various International conferences, one including at the International Colloquium of Business and Management, Bangkok. I am currently pursuing my doctoral program in Marketing and involved with research in HR and Marketing.
