In this paper we compared managerial models at Chinese enterprises with those in China managed by the Canadians based on well-established theories related to adopting foreign management at the enterprises in China. In the empirical study we concentrated on certain problems emerging at the enterprises where the Canadian managers have been present and involved actively in the decision-making.
The data collection was undertaken mostly through the questionnaires and interviewing of both Canadian managers working in China, as well as their Chinese colleagues followed by qualitative analyses and limited descriptive statistical data elaboration.
