Sonja joined the Department of Management in November 1998. Prior to that she was Professor at the University of Belgrade, visiting Professor at the University of California Berkeley, economic advisor to the Prime Minister of former Yugoslavia and advisor to the Minister of Civil Engineering and Construction Industry of Serbia. She has published books on social welfare, business economics, engineering economics, as well as papers and book chapters on fuzzy logic, neuro-fuzzy business application, economic reforms, and business decision making processe
