Prof. William A. Moylan

William A. Moylan is a Consultant, Trainer, Educator, Expert Witness and Practitioner in Project Management and Construction Engineering. He consults major industrial and public sector clients on developing and implementing Project Management within their organizations. He presents short courses and seminars in basic and applied project management, PM software, and public speaking. He provides expert testimony on construction management and construction/industrial safety.

Presently, Mr. Moylan is a member of the fulltime faculty of Eastern Michigan University’s College of Technology and instructs in Construction Management.

Mr. Moylan has extensive professional experience in all aspects of program and project management, including over eleven years internationally with the Arabian American Oil Co, and since 1983 has been involved in implementing information technology. He has worked on new product development, manufacturing, information systems, facility engineering, and construction projects within the heavy construction, oil & gas production, petroleum, chemical processing, energy, academic, government, public service, automotive, and manufacturing industries.

In addition, Mr. Moylan is completed his Ph.D. in Organization & Management with specialization in Leadership from the Capella University.His dissertation research is on values-based leadership skills, values and concepts. Mr. Moylan received his BS in Construction Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in 1974; and, his Masters from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1980, majoring in Project Management and minoring in International Business. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (“PMP”) through the Project Management Institute (“PMI”).
