Arben Asllani is an Associate Professor of Management of Information Systems at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He holds a PhD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Tirana, Albania. Beside knowledge management, Dr. Asllani's areas of interest include the impact that information technology has in the today’s organizational structure and in the decision making process. He has published articles dealing with the implementation of healthcare decision support systems, genetic algorithms, and knowledge management. Dr. Asllani’s most recent research is published in Omega, European Journal of Operation Research, and Knowledge Management.
