Paul Kauffman (Ph.D. A.N.U. 1982) works on Indigenous policy. He was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Canberra from 1997, was a Director of Multicultural Affairs and held visiting appointments at Cambridge (1998), Konstanz (2001) OECD (2002, 2003) and UBC (2004). His books include "Wik, Mining and Aborigines" (Allen & Unwin), "Travelling Aboriginal Australia: Discovery and Reconciliation" (Hyland House) and "Water and Fishing: Aboriginal Rights in Australia and Canada" FAIM, FASA.
