The author has managed $2,000m of major projects, developed national and international innovative industry capability policy papers for defence and government including defence industry policy, procurement benchmarking and best practice, established a procurement statistics database for $4b pa of purchases, costs of tendering policy, defence/industry interface best practices, and was awarded a defence industry study fellowship to Singapore, Israel, Sweden, Holland, Germany and UK, later to US and Japan. From 2000-2002, he worked for a multi-national in electronic business, and amongst other high technology work, developed a 'road map' for electronic business in conjunction with Cisco, KPMG and IBM.
He is currently a Chartered Practicing Engineer (Civil) and has submitted his PhD dissertation 'corporate governance through the lens of electronic procurement'.
