Ann Lawrence is a senior lecturer in Human Resource Management the Deakin Business School at Deakin University. Ann’s research interests include organisational change, organisational culture and value congruence, the effectiveness of human resource development, and Organisational Learning. Her recent publications include collaboration on 'Managing Organisational Change' (John Wiley 2005) and she has also published on a number of aspects of human resource management in journals, edited books, and presented a number of papers to conferences in Australia and overseas. Ann has taught a variety of HR and management subjects in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Australia and overseas, including China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. She has consulted widely to private industry in the field of human resource management, organisational culture and values, leadership and change and has worked in human resource development in Australia and in Switzerland. Ann is also holds Chartered Member status of the Australian Human Resources Institute and is a Member of the International Society for the Study of Work and Organizational Values. She has extensive experience in curriculum development, curriculum review in the areas of executive leadership and development, HRM, Managing Change, Organisational Behaviour.
