Tamar Soffer is a Ph.D student and lecturer at the Department of Health Systems Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben Gurion University, Israel. Her main research interests are complementary and alternative medicine, health policy and management.

Dr. Nadav Davidovitch

Nadav Davidovitch, MD, PhD is a lecturer at the Department of Health Systems Management, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben Gurion University, Israel. His current research focuses on several aspects of health policy, bringing his multi-disciplinary training both as an epidemiologist and public health physician and as a historian of medicine and public health. Among his recent publication are articles related to questions of contested science and public understanding and reactions to public health interventions, such as in vaccination policy, resistance to vaccination, health and immigration and alternative medicine. His co-edited volume with Rakefet Zalashik "Medical Borders" is forthcoming in Science in Context (September 2006)

Avishay Goldberg

Avishay Goldberg MPH, Ph.D, is Associate Professor of Health Systems Management & Emergency Medicine at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev Faculty of Health Sciences & School of Management. Prof' Goldberg is a member of the Department of Health Systems Management & the Department of Emergency Medicine and for the last three years Prof' Goldberg is the Head of Leon and Mathilda Recanati School for Community Health Professions. Prof' Goldberg has more then 50 refereed articles in scientific journals in Health Systems Management & Emergency Medicine.
