Educated in Poland (M.Sc. from The University of Wroclaw in Theoretical Physics) and United States (Ph.D. in Mathematics - Algebra from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale), in more recent time focused his research interests on information science in both, its formal, mathematical aspects, as well as in its philosophy. For many years interested in mathematical and scientific education, has served at positions responsible for programmatic aspects of university education. Currently Professor and Dean of Academic Affairs at Akita International University, Japan.
