The growth of the Internet and Electronic Commerce (e-commerce) has introduced the need for companies to construct strategies that implement the new e-commerce technologies. It has also produced a new series of risks to the company and the way they do business. The current research summarizes some of the risks that companies face in e-commerce, and strategies that companies use to address the risks in e-commerce. A literature review is conducted and produces models and frameworks that can be used to implement risk management strategies in e-commerce. Conclusions are drawn and further research is suggested.
