Based on review of recent literature, this paper has identified major factors of change program during KM adoption through an Iranian real case study in petrochemical industries. For this purpose the questionnaires were applied and then analyzed by statistical methods. The results discussed various perspectives from the point of both change management and knowledge management, and provided a regression model for showing critical issues of subject.
This study provides an integrated perspective of critical issues for change management during KM adoption in the petrochemical industry. It gives valuable information and guidelines that hopefully will help the leaders to manage the change efforts and consider critical issues during knowledge management establishment in the organization.
