Antecedents of Knowledge Management Success

This study aims at identifying influences of knowledge management success. The role of Leadership, Organizational Culture, KM strategy, and KM processes has been investigated with reference to Information Technology. It is felt that these intervening variables play a significant mediating role through Information Technology in determining success of KM programs. This empirical work has been carried out in the banking sector covering both the public sector and private sector in India. The findings support the premise that KM success is a result of the mediating role of Leadership, Organizational Culture, Strategy, and Processes on Information Technology.

I have thirteen years of working with different Business Schools in teaching, research and consultancy. I have been conferred with the Prof.K.Venkat Reddy gold medal in MBA for the batch 1992-1994 by S.K. University. I have been awarded with Doctor of Philosophy in Management for my dissertation titled ‘Organizational Culture and Network Embeddedness’. I possess to my credit a bachelors degree in law with Labor legislations as specialization. I have published five articles in different Journals and presented my research work in Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management, and Organizational Culture in various International Conferences including one in the International Colloquium on Business and Management, Bangkok. Have also undertaken consultancy work for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, India.

I,Ms.Swapna Bhargavi Gantasala am an Assistant Professor in Aurora P.G. College dealing with Finance and HR specialization subjects for students of the MBA programme. Iwas was earlier employed as Team Member at continuum Solutions for Baank of America. I have presented papers at numerous international conferences including one at the International coloquium on Business and Management, Bangkok.I am also currently pursuing my Ph.D in the specialization area of Finance and working on various reasearch areas.

Krishna Naik Chanda Naikgari

Prof.C.N.Krishna Naik is professor at Sri Krishna Devaraya Institute of Management, Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Ananatapur for the last 26 years. He has guided 11 doctoral works and 10 M.Phil research works. He is to present papers at the Oxford Round Table Conference between 3rd Aug to 8th aug 2008. He has also presented papers at ICBM2007, Bangkok and at ICE2008, Malaysia.
