Job satisfaction at salesforce level has become a topic of growing concern since significant proportion of marketing budgets, especially in pharmaceutical industry, is spent on them to achieve the assigned targets. Although a large number of studies have been conducted to investigate job satisfaction in diverse range of the cultures, subjects and occupations yet none has attempted to explore the impact of job content and context factors on the job satisfaction among pharmaceutical salespersons in Pakistan. Thus, the current study intends to determine the variance in salespersons’ overall job satisfaction explained by linear relationship of job content and context factors. As a result, practical implications have been proposed to improve overall job satisfaction.
