This empirical investigation attempts to study the relationship between learning capability, psychological empowerment and commitment of employees in NGOs. With the increase in organizational complexity and professionalisation of NGO’s, these organizations are attempting to improve the organizational culture and climate to increase the level of commitment of employees. The organizations are studied on different dimensions of learning organization (Britton, 1998) and a comparative analysis between non government organizations funded by international agencies and those funded by national agencies is done. The study attempts to present a framework showing relationship between learning capability, psychological empowerment and commitment in non-government organizations.
